I Benefizi sono un borgo di case che si trova a circa 2,5 km dal centro di Mornese, completamente immerso tra vigne e prati.

Secondo la tradizione, si tratterebbe del primo nucleo abitativo del paese sorto intorno al XI-XII secolo. Il nucleo è rappresentato da due massicce costruzioni, che distano pochi palmi l’una dall’altra e che si caratterizzano per archi, terrazzi, tettucci, scalette, è inoltre presente una chiesetta, risalente al 1600, con una piazzetta antistante. I Benefizi sono un luogo molto tranquillo, abitato soltanto da 4-5 persone.

Benefizi is a small suburb of houses which is located around 2,5 km from the centre of Mornese, completely immersed among vineyards and meadows.

According to tradition it would be the first inhabited nucleus of the town around XI-XII centuries. The core is represented by two massive constructions which are situated within a couple of handbreadths one from another and are characterized by arches, terraces, small housetops and ladders, and there is also a churchlet dating back to 1600 with a small square in front of it. Benefizi is a very quiet place inhabited only by 4-5 people.
