20. la chiesetta di N.S. di Pompei | the churchlet of our lady of Pompei

Questo edificio religioso si trova al trivio tra Mornese, Parodi Ligure e Montaldeo e costituisce punto di confine approssimativo dei tre comuni, nel luogo che in dialetto mornesino è indicato come Castagneiga. Essa viene costruita nel 1898 ed oggi si presenta restaurata grazie ai lavori che iniziarono nel 1995.

Sulla destra della facciata si erga un piccolo campanile, mentre l’interno è a navata unica adattata all’andamento della strada.

This religious building is situated at the junction between Mornese, Parodi Ligure and Montaldeo and is the approximate border of three towns, the place which in the dialect of Mornese is referred to as Castagneiga. It is constructed in 1898 and today is restored due to the renovation works that began in 1995.

On the right side of the façade is erected a small bell tower, while the interior is a single nave adapted to the course of the road.
